The National Implementing Evidence-Based Practice Project is an ongoing effort to promote the implementation of effective practices for adults who have severe mental illnesses. The project members designed and developed integrated packages of materials and services to help practice sites implement evidence-based practices and is field-testing the approach in eight states. These implementations are being evaluated carefully to learn how to make the technology transfer process more efficient in the future. This article describes the project and provides some early reflections on the implementation experience.

Genes encoding OXA-48-like carbapenem-hydrolyzing enzymes are often located on plasmids and are abundant among carbapenemase-producing (CPE) worldwide. After a large plasmid-mediated outbreak in 2011, routine screening of patients at risk of CPE carriage on admission and every 7 days during hospitalization was implemented in a large hospital in the Netherlands. The objective of this study was to investigate the dynamics of the hospitals' 2011 outbreak-associated plasmid among CPE collected from 2011 to 2021.

This paper explores the control of visiting "foreign scientists" at the Charles Darwin Research Station (CDRS) after it was established in the Galápagos Islands in 1959. Scholarly accounts of the creation of the Galápagos National Park and of the field station have emphasized their place in an international "land grab," as leading scientists and conservationists sought to control nature in places around the world that seemed less "civilized" to European thinkers. The actual administrative labor in the early years at this scientific field station, however, in practice struggled to control people widely taken to represent "civilization" in its highest form-European and American scientists.

Design/methodology/approach: This paper conducted a cross-sectional in-person survey with 38 leaders and 224 PCPs in 38 primary health centers (PHCs) in Jinan, Tianjin, Shenzhen and Shanghai. Guided by the regulatory focus theory, this paper built hierarchical linear regression models to examine the association between the leadership's regulatory focus and physician burnout, work-family conflict, clinic guideline adherence and preventive service delivery.

The 2011 report outlined several recommendations for transforming undergraduate biology education, sparking multiple pedagogical reform efforts. Among these was the Promoting Active Learning and Mentoring (PALM) network, an NSF-funded program that provided mentorship and training to instructors on implementing active learning in the classroom. Here, we provide a perspective on how members of the biology education community in PALM view the recommendations of , drawing upon our experiences both as members of PALM and as leaders of an associated project funded by another NSF grant that hosted PALM alumni at various conferences.
