Article Abstract
A case of a 71-year-old man with dyspnea attacks, weight loss and astheno-adynamia syndrome is presented. A 7.7 x 6.4 cm well-delineated tumor is found intraoperatively in the superior lobe of the left lung towards the posterior mediastinum. The tumor cells resemble hepatocytes histologically and show expression for alpha-fetoprotein. Diagnosis primary hepatoid lung adenocarcinoma is made. Pericellular basal membrane-like material is found on electron microscopy. A clinico-morphological discussion regarding the biological behavior and prognosis of this rare tumor is presented.

Aims: Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP)-producing colorectal adenocarcinoma (AFPCRA) is uncommon, with obscure clinicopathological features and prognosis.
Methods And Results: In this retrospective comparison study on surgically resected colorectal adenocarcinomas (CRA, n = 2389), we investigated and compared clinicopathological and prognostic features between AFPCRA cases with elevated pre-operative serum AFP levels, as the AFPCRA study group (n = 49, 2.1%), and the exact sex-, age- and stage-matched CRA cases as the control group at a 1:2 ratio during the study period from 2011 to 2021.

Introduction: Currently, there is no evidence of the effectiveness of surgical intervention for Stage IV gastric cancer (GC); however, there are scattered reports of hepatectomy for liver metastasis of GC after chemotherapy including nivolumab.
Presentation Of Case: We report a case of a 79-year-old man with a history of laparoscopic distal gastrectomy with D2 lymph node dissection for GC, pathologically diagnosed as hepatoid adenocarcinoma of the stomach (HAS), with a combined positive score (CPS) for programmed death (PD)-ligand 1 was >5. Six months after gastrectomy, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed multiple masses in both lobes of the liver, and the patient was treated with a regimen consisting of nivolumab and capecitabine with oxaliplatin (CapeOX).
