In the research, the outputs of different cycle parameters, PCR buffer and reaction volumes are compared. The results indicated that the annealing temperature, annealing time, elongated time and ingredient of PCR buffer affected mutiplex PCR, but the reaction volume and cycle number had few effect on it.

Influenza virus, adenovirus, and respiratory syncytial virus cause major respiratory infections. These infections have similar initial symptoms making it difficult to differentiate them based on symptoms alone. PCR is currently used as the standard diagnostic test for these infections, however, it has its limitations such as non-specific and false-negative amplifications, high cost, and the inability to distinguish between a live or dead virus.

Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) pose a significant clinical challenge due to their slow healing and high risk of complications, which severely affect patient quality of life. Central to the delayed healing observed in DFUs is mitochondrial dysfunction, a critical factor impairing cellular repair processes. Phosphocreatine (PCr), a vital molecule involved in cellular energy buffering and ATP regeneration, has recently emerged as a promising therapeutic candidate for ameliorating mitochondrial dysfunction and enhancing tissue repair.

Octocorals, vital components of reef ecosystems, inhabit various marine environments across diverse climate zones, spanning from tropical shallows to frigid deep-sea regions. Certain octocoral species, notably Lobophytum and Sinularia, are particularly intriguing due to their production of diverse metabolites, warranting continuous investigation. Although octocorals played the roles in coral ecosystems, the studies are rare in comparison to scleractinian corals, especially in transcriptomic and genomic data.
