Introduction: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) are chronic disorders of the gastrointestinal tract associated with gut microbiota dysbiosis and inflammation. Serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (SBI) is used to manage IBS and IBD and has shown prebiotic-like effects in ex vivo models. Re-establishing a healthy gut microbiome with novel treatments like SBI could help treat the underlying causes of these diseases leading to higher and sustained patient response.

Background: Family satisfaction with intensive care is a measure of patient experience and patient-centered care. Among the factors that might influence family satisfaction are the timing of patient admittance to the intensive care unit (ICU), the ICU environment, and individual health care providers.
Objective: To evaluate family satisfaction with the ICU and to explore associations between satisfaction and specific characteristics of the ICU stay.

Wild edible trees (WETs) play an important role in the diet of many rural communities. Therefore, research on their use and management is important to support both food sovereignty and local conservation of biocultural resources. We evaluated the different uses of WETs by the community of Zacualpan, Colima, in western Mexico, through 32 semi-structured interviews registering the species richness, plant parts consumed, and non-food uses.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate pain metrics and gut microbiota differences from human subjects with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) compared to cohabitants (HHC) and non-cohabitating (biobank) controls. In addition, we aimed evaluate longitudinal changes of gut microbiota using a mouse model of acute and chronic CRPS.
Methods: In an observational, cross-sectional study, 25 patients with CRPS and 24 household controls (HHC) were recruited, completed pain questionnaires, and submitted stool samples.

This dataset was developed by COST Action 19112 Women on the Move (WEMov), which engages in unveiling women migrants' presence and participation in the construction of Europe. The dataset was built as a register of toponyms and monuments in the political and public landscape in Europe - such as street names, school names and parks, as well as statues and memorials - that celebrate women migrants. With the dataset we want to discover how women migrants are remembered and what kind of landmarks present these individuals who have had an episode of migration for a variety of reasons.
