We describe a patient with a history of poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma of the stomach in whom hyperplastic mesothelial cell inclusions were present in subpleural lymph nodes. The involved lymph nodes were embedded in a lipoma in the parietal pleura. The role of histochemistry and immunohistochemistry in the differentiation of these inclusions from metastatic carcinoma is discussed.

Objective: To evaluate the feasibility and tolerance of ultra-hypofractionated SABR (stereotactic ablative radiation therapy) protocol following radical prostatectomy.

Patients And Methods: We included patients undergoing adjuvant or salvage SABR between April 2019 and April 2023 targeting the surgical bed and pelvic lymph nodes up to a total dose of 36.25 Gy (7.

Computed tomography-based nomogram for estimating progression-free survival probability in bladder cancer patients undergoing partial cystectomy.

Abdom Radiol (NY)

January 2025

Department of Radiology, Tianjin First Central Hospital, Tianjin Institute of Imaging Medicine, School of Medicine, Nankai University, Tianjin, China.

Purpose: To establish a prognostic model to estimate progression-free survival (PFS) probability in bladder cancer (BCa) patients undergoing partial cystectomy.

Material And Methods: Consecutive patients who underwent partial cystectomy between August 2012 and April 2021 were enrolled. The primary endpoint was PFS during the follow-up.

Objectives: The Scrotal and Penile Imaging Working Group (SPIWG) of the European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR) aimed to formulate recommendations on the imaging modalities and minimal technical requirements for abdominopelvic imaging in the follow-up of adult patients treated for testicular germ-cell tumors (TGCT).

Methods: The SPIWG members performed an extensive literature search, reviewed the current clinical practice, and reached a consensus based on the opinions of experts in the field.

Results: Recurrence in patients treated for TGCT mainly occurs in retroperitoneal lymph nodes (LNs).

Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the safety and efficacy of left thoracic approach (LTA) and right thoracic approach (RTA) in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) after neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy (NICT).

Methods: This study included 83 ESCC patients who underwent right transthoracic esophagectomy ( = 61) and left transthoracic esophagectomy ( = 22) after NICT in our hospital from October 2019 to September 2023. The data of these patients were retrospectively analyzed.

: Incomptine A () has been reported to have cytotoxic activity in non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancer cell lines and have effects on U-937 cells, including the induction of apoptosis, the production of reactive oxygen species, and the inhibition of glycolytic enzymes. Also, has cytotoxic activity in the triple-negative subtypes, HER2+, and luminal A of breast cancer cells, with its properties being associated with an effect on the antiapoptotic function of Hexokinase II (HKII). : In this research, we reviewed the altered levels of proteins present in the lymph nodes of male Balb/c mice inoculated with U-937 cells and treated with or methotrexate, as well as mice only inoculated with cancer cells.
