: The aim of this study was to analyze whether the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI), specifically the Natural Language Processing (NLP) branch developed by OpenAI, could help a thoracic multidisciplinary tumor board (MTB) make decisions if provided with all of the patient data presented to the committee and supported by accepted clinical practice guidelines. : This is a retrospective comparative study. The inclusion criteria were defined as all patients who presented at the thoracic MTB with a suspicious or first diagnosis of non-small-cell lung cancer between January 2023 and June 2023.

Background: Preclinical studies and anecdotal case reports support the potential therapeutic benefit of low-dose oral ketamine as a treatment of clinical symptoms in Rett syndrome (RTT); however, no controlled studies have been conducted in RTT to evaluate safety, tolerability and efficacy.
Design: This was a sequentially initiated, dose-escalating cohort, placebo-controlled, double blind, randomized sequence, cross-over study of oral ketamine in 6-12-year-old girls with RTT to evaluate short-term safety and tolerability and explore efficacy.
Methods: Participants were randomized to either five days treatment with oral ketamine or matched placebo, followed by a nine-day wash-out period and then crossed-over to the opposite treatment.

The tension that arises from this has been construed as a hallmark of the practice and an ever-present quandary for practitioners. Background: Most cancer survivors have multiple cardiovascular risk factors, increasing their risk of poor cardiovascular and cancer outcomes. The Automated Heart-Health Assessment (AH-HA) tool is a novel electronic health record clinical decision support tool based on the American Heart Association's Life's Simple 7 cardiovascular health (CVH) metrics to promote CVH assessment and discussion in outpatient oncology. Before proceeding to future implementation trials, it is critical to establish the acceptability of the tool among providers and survivors.

Herein, we report a case of successful management of severe upper airway obstruction caused by angioedema, where intubation was achieved using a dual-function video laryngoscope and bronchoscope system in the emergency department for a patient with severe upper airway stenosis due to angioedema. A 74-year-old obese man with dyspnea presented to our emergency department.
