Background: Existing literature has emphasized the importance of certain skills vital for student nurses as they prepare for leadership and management roles before becoming registered nurses. This review aims to provide a more comprehensive insight into the essential leadership and management skills identified in previous research. The current study seeks to explore the leadership and management skills necessary to prepare student nurses for their roles in clinical settings.

Background: Shoulder dystocia, a challenging condition for obstetricians, poses significant risks to both maternal and neonatal health, including maternal postpartum hemorrhage, neonatal hypoxia, and brachial plexus injury. Despite being unpredictable and unpreventable, effective management can mitigate these risks. Miscommunication and poor leadership are responsible for 72% of medical errors, which further highlights the importance of robust leadership skills in obstetric emergencies.

Background: The prevalence of trauma among individuals with HIV has prompted efforts to integrate trauma-informed care (TIC) into HIV care and treatment to improve health outcomes. A TIC Implementation Model, developed by a US capacity-building organization focuses on organizational changes, aligning cultural and physical environments, emphasizing values like safety and trustworthiness, engaging leadership, and training staff in skills-based TIC services. Despite growing research, gaps remain in understanding the relationship between organizational capacity, provider knowledge, and the dosage of technical assistance (TA) required to sustain TIC integration.
