Introduction: This study aimed to explore type 2 diabetes mellitus patients' perspectives on diabetic foot complications and challenges of footcare management in Sigatoka, Fiji.

Methods: This study applied a qualitative approach among persons with diabetes who attended diabetic foot clinics from August to September 2021. Participants were selected through purposive sampling and included any self-identified Fijian aged 18 years and over who had type 2 diabetes with a minimum diagnosis duration of 6 months and no experience of an amputation.

Objectives: Lack of ethnic diversity in trials may contribute to health disparities and to inequity in health outcomes. The primary objective was to investigate the experiences and perspectives of ethnically diverse populations about how to improve ethnic diversity in trials.

Study Design And Setting: Qualitative data were collected via 16 focus groups with participants from 21 ethnically diverse communities in Australia.

Although Pacific values are integral to family planning, open communication in the home is often difficult in the face of changing socio-cultural norms. The ridge-to-reef approach on Cicia Island, Fiji.

Many Pacific countries and territories embrace an officially recognized 'ridge-to-reef' approach to environmental management. This is the case of Fiji, where the Lau Seascape Strategy 2018-2030, led by Conservation International, aims for integrated natural resource management across 335 895 km. This area includes Cicia Island, which deserves particular attention since, years before the design of the Lau Seascape Strategy, its population developed its own informal ridge-to-reef scheme, involving a combination of certified organic agriculture and locally managed marine closures.
