A case of a 13-year-old female patient with a non-traumatic hard-elastic swelling in the right popliteal cavity, associated with functional impairment in maximal knee flexion and mild pain, is presented. The combination of clinical and radiologic findings (radiography, CT and MRI) suggested a number of differential diagnoses within bone and soft tissue tumors. The collected diagnostic information did not allow a definitive diagnosis that was established only after biopsy.

Introduction And Importance: Calcific tendinitis occurring in the popliteal tendon is extremely rare and has rarely been reported in the past. This case describes a patient who underwent arthroscopic surgery to remove the calcification of the popliteal tendon and achieved satisfactory results after surgery, providing valuable evidence for the feasibility of arthroscopic treatment of calcific tendinitis of the popliteal tendon.

Case Presentation: The patient was a 55-year-old female who was admitted to the hospital due to right knee pain and limited mobility.

Background: Soft-tissue sarcoma involving the popliteal fossa remains challenging because it is difficult to achieve wide margins with limb salvage in this location. Adjuvant therapy is frequently necessary, and limb function can be adversely affected. We reviewed our experience with these tumors.

Background: Secondary lymphedema is a progressive condition caused by lipid- and protein-rich interstitial fluid accumulation resulting from compromised lymphatic function. It commonly occurs in cancer patients following surgical lymph node ablation and radiation treatment. This study aims to elucidate the effects of exercise on the myokine interleukin (IL)-6 and the molecular changes involved in lymphangiogenesis and extracellular matrix (ECM) synthesis using a lymphedema mouse model.

Although thrombotic events are uncommon in young individuals, patients with genetic mutations in coagulation factors may develop extensive multisite thrombosis. We present the case of a 26-year-old patient, a smoker for nine years, who was admitted to the hospital complaining of right thigh pain with swelling, right flank abdominal pain, dyspnea, and hemoptysis. A medical history provided by the patient indicated that one month prior to presentation, an accidental fall had resulted in multiple rib fractures, bilateral hemopneumothorax, and pneumomediastinum.

A 40-year-old female arrived with persistent posterior right knee pain, swelling in the popliteal, infrapatellar, anterior calf areas and difficulty walking due to joint stiffness. Multiple hypoechoic collections with internal echoes and debris were discovered in the anterior calf region using ultrasound imaging, which extended from a thick-walled infrapatellar hypoechoic collection with peripheral vascularity. A significant popliteal fossa cyst of comparable appearance was also observed.
