Aims And Objectives: Dynamic incursion of lumbrical muscle proximal to the distal edge of transverse carpal ligament (TCL) has been long debated for its role in causing median nerve compression in the carpal tunnel. This study aims to evaluate the pattern of lumbrical incursion into the carpal tunnel in various finger positions and determine their extent of presence and relationship with respect to the TCL and to each other in the carpal tunnel.
Materials & Methods: Dissection of 30 fresh frozen cadaveric hands was done to map the lumbrical muscles.

Background: In this study, we described the anatomy of the brachial plexus of the guinea pig (Cavia porcellus). The description of the brachial plexus anatomy can contribute to the knowledge of the neuroanatomy of small mammals. Furthermore, it is a source of information for clinicians performing brachial plexus anesthesia in exotic animals such as the guinea pig (Cavia porcellus).

Visualizing in 3D the histological microanatomy of the human olfactory projection from the olfactory mucosa in the nasal cavity to the olfactory bulbs in the cranial cavity necessitates a workflow for handling a great many sections. Here, we assembled a 3D reconstruction of a 7.45 cm en-bloc specimen extracted from an embalmed human cadaver.
