Background: Coronary artery dominance is determined by the coronary artery emitting the posterior descending artery. In the left dominant system, a greater proportion of coronary flow enters the left coronary artery, potentially influencing calcified plaque development in the left anterior descending artery (LAD).
Methods: This retrospective single-center cohort study analyzed patients who underwent computed tomography angiography from September 2006 to December 2022 at Harbor-UCLA in Los Angeles, California.

Background: Many studies indicate that high and multiple doses of anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS) for athletic enhancement can result in serious and irreversible adverse effects. A study that includes laboratory blood testing to evaluate the direct effects of AAS agents among users has not been previously undertaken. The purpose of this study was to investigate the adverse effects of the use of AAS by athletes and to determine whether AAS use leads to changes in certain blood parameters.

This study investigates if similar changes are seen in Hawaii, where the incidence of HCC is higher than most of the United States. Methods; This is a retrospective study of 1651 patients diagnosed with HCC (1991-2023) that includes 60-70% of Hawaii's HCC cases.
