Background/purpose: Oral leukoplakia (OLK) and oral lichen planus (OLP) represent two common oral potentially malignant disorders. It would be interesting to know scientific output and characteristics of studies on OLK and OLP.
Materials And Methods: This study aimed to investigate and compare scientometric characteristics of articles on OLK and OLP in the Scopus database, with emphasis on the analysis of the keywords that can reflect research directions and topics of concern.

Nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) are a family of ligand-gated ion channels expressed in nervous and non-nervous system tissue important for memory, movement, and sensory processes. The pharmacological targeting of nAChRs, using small molecules or peptides, is a promising approach for the development of compounds for the treatment of various human diseases including inflammatory and neurogenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease. Using the acetylcholine binding protein (Ac-AChBP) as an established structural surrogate for human homopentameric α7 nAChRs, we describe an innovative protein painting mass spectrometry (MS) method that can be used to identify interaction sites for various ligands at the extracellular nAChR site.

Inclusion of people with lived experience into various mental healthcare settings is rapidly increasing. In this article we explicate and address two challenges that hinder this development. First, a descriptive challenge: what is the unique and complementary epistemic contribution of people with lived experience in mental healthcare, precisely? Second, a normative challenge: how to evaluate these contributions of people with lived experience to mental healthcare? To address these challenges, we propose a novel conceptual 'lens' through which to understand the epistemic contributions of people with lived experience.

Background: Cervical cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide. Early screening and vaccination can prevent cervical cancer; however, the low levels of knowledge, attitude, and practice among the young can contribute to the high prevalence of cervical cancer.
Objective: This study aimed to assess the level of knowledge, attitude, and practice of cervical cancer and associated factors among female Health Sciences students of the College of Health Sciences at Addis Ababa University.
