Retinopathy with Vitamin E Deficiency (RVED) is a familial disease in the English Cocker Spaniel (ECS) dog breed. Ophthalmic abnormalities observed in RVED-affected ECS include lipofuscin granule deposition within the tapetal fundus and subsequent retinal degeneration resulting in visual deficits.
