This study investigates the preparation of coamorphous systems composed entirely of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), namely praziquantel, niclosamide, and mebendazole. The objective was to formulate and characterize binary and ternary coamorphous systems to evaluate their structural, thermal, and stability properties. Ten different mixtures (binary and ternary) were designed through a mixture design approach and prepared using a sustainable, one-step neat grinding process in a lab-scale vibrational mill.

Flexible, wearable, piezoresistive sensors have significant potential for applications in wearable electronics and electronic skin fields due to their simple structure and durability. Highly sensitive, flexible, piezoresistive sensors with the ability to monitor laryngeal articulatory vibration supply a new, more comfortable and versatile way to aid communication for people with speech disorders. Here, we present a piezoresistive sensor with a novel microstructure that combines insulating and conductive properties.

Effluents containing synthetic anionic dyes can pose a risk to ecosystems, and they must be treated before their release to the environment. Biosorption, a simple and effective process, may be a promising solution for treating these effluents. In this work, chitosan beads were crosslinked with epichlorohydrin to produce a highly stable and performant biosorbent to remove Brilliant Blue FCF dye.

Puberulic acid (PA) is a mycotoxin produced by a species of . It has received widespread attention as a significant contributor to the reported fatalities associated with red yeast rice dietary supplements. However, the detection of PA, especially at low concentration levels, poses a considerable challenge, with no detection methods reported thus far.

To establish a rapid and sensitive detection method for the porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), gene-specific primers and a TaqMan probe were designed based on the gene of PRRSV, and a new stable fully pre-mixed reverse transcription real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) reaction mixture was developed. A simple and rapid RT-qPCR detection method for PRRSV was developed by optimizing nucleic acid amplification conditions. The results showed that the method was able to specifically detect PRRSV without cross-reactivity with the other 11 porcine susceptible viruses.
