Background: The chefs and pantry workers environment plays a crucial role in the general and oral health. These workers have some unusual work timings and have a lot of stress and anxiety, and they also consume tobacco, alcohol, and smoke the cigarettes, which has a greater impact on oral health.
Material And Methods: A total of 86 kitchen workers (53 chefs and 33 pantry workers) of ten well-known restaurants in Hyderabad city were included.

The discoveries of penicillin and streptomycin were pivotal for infection control with the knowledge subsequently being used to enable the discovery of many other antibiotics currently used in clinical practice. These valuable compounds are generally derived from mesophilic soil microorganisms, predominantly Streptomyces species. Unfortunately, problems with the replication of results suggested that this discovery strategy was no longer viable, motivating a switch to combinatorial chemistry in conjunction with existing screening programmes to derive new antimicrobials.

Background: Amoxicillin suspension is frequently prescribed to children; we hypothesized that prescribing convention system constraints lead to unusual dosing regimens and unnecessary waste of the drug.
Objective: Identify antibiotic dispensing practices by community pharmacists and/or technicians to understand opportunities to decrease wasted amoxicillin liquid and optimize prescribing convention of liquid amoxicillin to children.
Methods: Pilot online survey of Atlanta area and National Community Pharmacists Association pharmacists or pharmacy technicians that self-reported dispensing amoxicillin suspension.
