Cancer metastasis is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths, making early detection and the prevention of metastatic progression critical research priorities. Recent studies have expanded our understanding of CEMIP (KIAA1199, HYBID), revealing its involvement in cancer metastasis and its potential role in slowing cancer progression. CEMIP plays critical roles in several stages of cancer metastasis: First, CEMIP promotes cancer cell proliferation to maintain cell heterogeneity before the metastasis process.

Exosomes as a unique drug delivery system provide a new choice for tumor therapy. However, the in vitro functionalization of exosomes and the process of circulating drug delivery can easily cause exosome degradation and drug loss, thus reducing the efficiency of drug delivery. In this work, based on the endocyto-fusion-exocytosis pathway of exosome formation, a multifunctional hyaluronic acid nanogel loaded with the antiangiogenic drug vatalanib and the near-infrared photothermal agent indocyanine green (ICG) was designed.

Introduction: Immunogenicity continues to be a challenge for development and clinical utility of monoclonal antibodies, and there are gaps in our current ability to prevent anti-drug antibody development in a safe and antigen-specific manner.
Methods: To mitigate immunogenicity of monoclonal antibodies administered subcutaneously, O-phospho-L-serine (OPLS)-the head group of the tolerance-inducing phospholipid, phosphatidylserine-was investigated as an immunoregulatory adjuvant.
Results: Formulations of adalimumab, trastuzumab or rituximab with OPLS showed reduction in relative immunogenicity in mice compared to vehicle formulations, indicated by reduced anti-drug antibody development and significant reductions in CD138+ plasma cell differentiation in bone marrow.

Background And Objective: Although generally low-risk, hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers can lead to late-onset edema, particularly in the periocular region. This condition typically manifests three to four months post-injection and requires specialized management, usually with hyaluronidase. However, increased use of hyaluronidase has resulted in instances of post-hyaluronidase syndrome, leading to unaesthetic outcomes.
