Background: Vaccine hesitancy is a serious public health problem globally, particularly in low- and middle-income countries like Pakistan. This study aims to determine the vaccination refusal rate, associated factors and perceptions of parents who refused routine immunisation within Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Methods: A cross-sectional study conducted in July-2024, among 340 parents of children aged 0-59 months.

Obesity is a leading cause of cardiovascular diseases. There are significant and mutual associations between lymphatic dysfunction and obesity. This case-control study aimed to compare nutrient intake, depressive symptoms, and Eysenck's personality traits in patients with lower extremity lymphedema and overweight/obesity (n = 34) in comparison to patients with lifestyle-induced overweight/obesity (n = 30) and patients with normal body weight (n = 30).

Introduction: Papilloedema can be the first sign of life-threatening disease, for example, brain tumours. Due to the potential seriousness of this clinical sign, the detection of papilloedema would normally prompt urgent hospital referral for further investigation. The problem is that many benign structural variations of optic nerve anatomy can be mistaken for papilloedema, so-called pseudopapilloedema.

Objective: Our objective was to develop and assess the psychometric properties of relevant bolt-on items for the EQ-5D-5L in patients with rare diseases (RDs).
Methods: Nineteen new EQ-5D-5L bolt-ons were developed based on literature review, expert input and qualitative interviews and focus groups with patients, caregivers and representatives of patient associations. A nationwide, cross-sectional, web-based survey in China included patients or caregivers of patients with 31 RDs in China (n=9,190).
