Synovial sarcoma is a rare malignant mesenchymal neoplasm primarily affecting adolescents and young adults, and it typically arises from deep soft tissues near large joints. Although commonly found in extremities, it can occur in various anatomic locations. We present a rare case of a 29-year-old man with primary pulmonary synovial sarcoma manifesting as a cystic mass masquerading as a lung hydatid cyst.

Albendazole serves as a broad-spectrum anthelmintic medication for treating hydatid cysts and neurocysticercosis. However, its therapeutic effectiveness is limited by poor solubility. Nanocrystals offer a promising technology to address this limitation by enhancing drug solubility.

Background: Hydatid cyst (HC) frequently affects the lungs, making it the second most common site after the liver. This study evaluated the clinical characteristics, surgical procedures, complications, laboratory findings, and factors influencing hospital length of stay (LOS) in patients undergoing surgery for pulmonary hydatid cysts.
Methods: This retrospective observational study included adult patients who underwent surgery for lung HC between 2017 and 2021.

Splenic cysts are differentiated into primary and secondary cysts based on epithelial lining. Primary non-parasitic epithelial splenic cysts are extremely rare. We report a case of a 24-year-old male with left hypochondrial swelling with no history of abdominal trauma.

Introduction: Peritoneal hydatid disease accounts for 2-13 % of abdominal hydatidosis cases. Due to its nonspecific clinical presentation and potential for multi-organ involvement, the condition is often misdiagnosed. Evidence on managing primary peritoneal hydatid cysts remains limited, presenting challenges in diagnosis and treatment.
