Abstract. In the present study, we measured and quantified changes in leukocyte behavior in the subcutaneous microcirculation in vivo and examined serum cytokine levels in vitro while mice were exposed to continuous 50 Hz electromagnetic fields for 17 days. Mice were exposed to 50 Hz sinusoidal electromagnetic fields at magnetic densities of 0.3, 1.0 and 3.0 mT. The intramicrovascular behavior of leukocytes was evaluated by fluorescence microscopy using a dorsal skinfold chamber technique. Significantly increased endothelial-adhering leukocytes were observed only in the 3.0 mT exposure group, but no changes were detected in serum TNF-alpha and IL-1beta levels. Subsequently, long-term continuous whole body exposure to 50 Hz electromagnetic fields elicited leukocyte-endothelium interactions, however, this effect does not appear to be controlled by cytokine levels.

Metal single atoms (SA)-support interactions inherently exhibit significant electrochemical activity, demonstrating potential in energy catalysis. However, leveraging these interactions to modulate electronic properties and extend application fields is a formidable challenge, demanding in-depth understanding and quantitative control of atomic-scale interactions. Herein, in situ, off-axis electron holography technique is utilized to directly visualize the interactions between SAs and the graphene surface.

This study addresses the challenges of magnetic circuit coupling and control complexity in active radial magnetic bearings (ARMBs) by systematically investigating the electromagnetic performance of four magnetic pole configurations (NNSS, NSNS, NNNN, and SSSS). Initially, equivalent magnetic circuit modeling and finite element analysis (FEA) were employed to analyze the magnetic circuit coupling phenomena and their effects on the magnetic flux density distribution for each configuration. Subsequently, the air gap flux density and electromagnetic force were quantified under rotor eccentricity caused by unbalanced disturbances, and the dynamic performances of the ARMBs were evaluated for eccentricity along the x-axis and at 45°.

In this study, CO reacted with a curing agent through nucleophilic addition to form ammonium salts, enabling the stable capture and internal release of CO, which achieved gas-phase nucleation and foaming. Additionally, the introduction of wave-absorbing agents improved the absorption mechanism and promoted uniform foaming. This nucleation-free foaming process relies on the induced growth of gas nuclei and the synergistic effect of the wave-absorbing agents, effectively preventing the uneven foaming issues caused by traditional nucleating agents.

This paper presents a modularized reconfigurable functional electromagnetic surface (MRFES) for broadband absorption and polarization conversion by using tightly coupled dipole antennas (TCDA) and back-loaded radio frequency (RF) circuits (BLRFC). A dual-polarized antenna array with tight coupling and wide angular scanning characteristics is designed. By loading different RF circuits on the back side of the antenna array's ground plane, switchable broadband absorption and polarization conversion functions are achieved.
