The coordination of therapy between surgical and general dentists is integral to an ideal definitive restoration for comprehensive implant patients. Employing specific surgical and restorative strategies, this team approach allows for the maintenance of esthetics, phonetics, and function during the provisional period, as well as significant hard and soft tissue management designed to enhance the final restoration. This article presents three implant-related case reports that demonstrate a more predictable result by synchronization between the periodontist and general dentist.
