The recent advances in stent technology and renal endovascular management have provided a technically reproducible method of percutaneously treating atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis (RAS). In many centers, this has resulted in endovascular management being the primary therapy for atherosclerotic RAS. Although still controversial, it appears that endovascular management of RAS by primay stent deployment provides better blood pressure control than that afforded by best medical management. The impact on renal function is less than that found for hypertension, but there is evidence to suggest that the use of protection devices and primary stenting may enhance renal function outcomes. Whether the ultimate benefit of enhanced survival follows remains an important question and should be the subject of future prospective studies.

Purpose: To propose a gastrointestinal bleeding management algorithm that incorporates an endoscopic and imaging scoring system and specifies management of vascular complication from button battery ingestion.
Recent Findings: Button batteries (BB) are found in many electronic devices and ingestions are associated with serious complications especially in cases of unwitnessed ingestions, prolonged impaction, and in children less than 5 years of age. Gastrointestinal bleeding from BB related vascular injury is rare but often rapidly fatal, with a mortality rate as high as 81%.
Introduction: In 2015, Society for Vascular Surgery guidelines on claudication management were released spanning optimal medical management, procedural, and post-procedure recommendations. Uptake of guidelines and changes to clinical practice over time remain unknown. This study hypothesized that guideline aligned practice increased after guideline release.
