Antithymocyte globulin (ATG) is used commonly in patients with severe aplastic anemia and those undergoing renal transplant. Its utility also is being explored in the treatment of myelodysplastic syndrome, conditioning regimens for hematopoietic stem cell transplant, and prophylaxis of graft-versus-host disease. As indications for ATG expand, knowledge regarding its administration and management of associated toxicities is needed. These toxicities range from life-threatening anaphylaxis associated with the infusion to flu-like symptoms that occur one to two weeks after the infusion. Adverse effects are classified according to the severity and system impacted. Mild toxicities respond to comfort measures and include fever, chills, urticarial rash, and vomiting. Moderate toxicities require acute interventions and include fluid-responsive hypotension, nonischemic chest pain, and reversible oxygen desaturation. Severe toxicities require intensive support and include those refractory to earlier intervention. Management of these toxicities usually is limited to fluid resuscitation and noninvasive monitoring. Occurrence of infusion-related toxicities may require premature discontinuation of therapy. Therefore, an educated healthcare team and interdisciplinary clinical management guidelines are important to ensure the safe administration and complete course of ATG.

Purpose: Glioblastoma (GBM), the most common malignant tumor of the central nervous system (CNS) in adults, continues to result in poor survival rates despite standard treatment. Advancements in understanding GBM's molecular complexity have increased interest in targeted therapeutic approaches. This retrospective, single-center, single-arm study combined nimotuzumab and bevacizumab with radiotherapy (RT) and temozolomide (TMZ) for the treatment of newly diagnosed GBM.

The Cell-Free Protein Synthesis (CFPS) is an innovative technique used to produce various proteins. It has several advantages, including short expression times, no strain engineering is required, and toxic proteins such as membrane proteins can be produced. However, the most important advantage is that it eliminates the need for a living cell as a production system.

Unlabelled: Uremic leontiasis ossia (ULO) is a rare manifestation of renal osteodystrophy in) patients with end-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD) and secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPTH). It occurs due to increased osteoclastic activity secondary to high plasmatic parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels. This leads to bone deformation with thickening and massive enlargement of the cranial vault, resulting in a leonine face appearance.

CsCuI is considered a promising material for lead-free resistive switching (RS) memory devices due to its low operating voltage, high on/off ratio, and excellent thermal and environmental stability. However, conventional lead-free halide-based RS memory devices typically require solvent-based thin-film formation processes that involve toxic organic and acidic solvents, and the effects of process conditions on device performance are often not fully understood. This study investigates the effect of crystallinity on CsCuI-based RS memory devices fabricated thermal evaporation.
