Background: Piperine, a secondary metabolite, affects the antihyperlipidemic effect of Ezetimibe (EZ). Hyperlipidemia is one of the independent risk factors for cardiovascular disorders such as atherosclerosis. Antihyperlipidemic drugs are essential for reducing cardiovascular events and patient mortality.

Background: Dyslipidemia, a leading risk factor for cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), significantly contributes to global morbidity and mortality. Rice bran, rich in bioactive compounds such as γ-oryzanol and tocotrienols, has demonstrated promising lipid-modulating effects.
Objective: This meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effects of rice bran on lipid profiles, including triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and identify factors influencing its efficacy across different populations and intervention conditions.

Objective: To describe the prevalence and epidemic trends of several chronic multimorbidy among adult residents in 10 provinces(autonomous regions)of China over the past 14 years, and to analyze their multimorbidity patterns.
Methods: According to the fasting blood physiological and biochemical tests, physical measurements and questionnaires of 17 000 adult residents aged 18 years and above who were surveyed in 4 rounds of follow-up surveys in 2009, 2015, 2018 and 2023, the relevant indicators and disease history information of obesity, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, hyperuricemia, and various chronic diseases were obtained. Descriptive analysis was carried out to identify and compare several common combinations of multimorbidity in the population with 2 or more chronic disease conditions and the changing trends of 4 rounds of surveys.

Objective: To analyze the status and epidemic trends of major chronic metabolic diseases among adults.
Methods: Using the "China Health and Nutrition Survey"(2009-2018)/"China Development and Nutrition Health Impact Cohort Survey"(2022-2023), adults aged 18 years old and above from 10 provincial regions were selected as the study subjects. Those with missing demographic information and disease diagnosis were removed, and a total of 34 982 people were finally included from 2009, 2015, 2018 and 2023 waves.

This study provides a systematic review of existing evidence concerning the efficacy of Jiangzhi Tongluo Soft Capsules(JTSC) in treating hyperlipidemia(syndrome of blood stasis and Qi stagnation), following the Guidelines for clinical evidence and value assessment of drugs. The qualitative and quantitative methods were integrated, including questionnaire surveys, evidence-based medicine, and pharmacoeconomic evaluation. Multi-criteria decision analysis(MCDA) model was used for comprehensive assessment of the clinical evidence and value of JTSC for hyperlipidemia in "6+1" dimensions: safety, effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, innovation, suitability, accessibility, and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) characteristics.
