Background: COVID-related clinic shutdowns mandated the use of a day 1 telephone follow-up the day after routine cataract surgery rather than clinic attendance. We investigated to see if this is a safe alternative to standard care.
Methods: Ninety-nine patients who underwent a routine cataract extraction between 22 April 2020 and 19 August 2020 at our Hospital were included in this audit.

Objectives: This research describes four aspects of the development of the Sense of Safety Theoretical Framework for whole person care: exploring the meaning of the phrase "sense of safety"-the whole person ; the range of human experience that impacts sense of safety-whole person ; the dynamics that build sense of safety-the healing ; and the personal and cross-disciplinary trauma-informed practitioner that facilitate sense of safety.
Methods: This qualitative participatory study was conducted in two phases. Researchers iteratively explored the concept of sense of safety using focus groups and semi-structured interviews.

Background And Objectives: Serum immunoglobulin G (IgG) and total protein are used to monitor plasmapheresis donor safety. However, there is a lack of information from large donor cohorts to determine the best use of these measurements.
Materials And Methods: We identified 230,144 plasmapheresis donors making their first donation between 1 July 2020 and 31 March 2024.

Background The high prevalence of non-consensual sex, including physical force, verbal threats, intimidation, and/or verbal coercion and rape among university students, has prompted urgent calls for action from governments, statutory, and university bodies. This research aims to identify key factors students see as contributing to non-consensual sex with a view to developing effective strategies to address these issues. Methods An online cross-sectional survey was administered to 4291 university students attending universities in south-east Queensland, Australia.
