A newborn infant with rare teratoma of infratemporal fossa is presented. This neoplasm develops in childhood or early adulthood, generally in gonads. 10% of all teratomas are tumors of head and neck. The diagnosis needs to be made promptly, usually with the aid of computerized tomography, followed by excisional biopsy. The treatment of choice is operation and complete excision of tumor. The review of literature is presented.
