Lymphatic filariasis is an uncommon condition in Hong Kong and is currently considered as one of the neglected tropical diseases by the World Health Organization. Blood tests are available for diagnosis of acute infections, but false negative results can occur with chronic manifestations of lymphatic filariasis. We present a case which illustrates how radiological imaging can help with diagnosis of lymphatic filariasis.

Intramedullary spinal tuberculomas constitute a small percentage of spinal tuberculosis. These, in combination with brain tuberculomas, are an uncommon manifestation of central nervous system (CNS) tuberculosis. This report details a unique case of a 32-year-old retroviral disease-positive male who presented with a two-month history of symmetrical quadriparesis and recent seizures.

Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease is a rare systemic illness commonly affecting young females with a higher tendency to occur in the Asian population. Clinical presentation varies with most patients presenting with fever and cervical lymphadenopathy. The patient discussed in this case report presented to a tertiary care hospital in Sri Lanka with a fever for two weeks and palpable cervical lymphadenopathy.
