To summarize the morphological characteristics and development and healing processes of severe radiodermatitis for examining the factors contributing to the development of severe radiodermatitis in patients with head and neck cancer. This scoping review was conducted in accordance with PRISMA extension for Scoping Reviews. Data were extracted from selected references describing detailed conditions of severe radiodermatitis in patients with head and neck cancer.

Friction blisters are common among outdoor enthusiasts, yet their causes remain uncertain. This study aimed to compare foot hydration in long-distance hikers with and without blisters, and to assess variability based on age and sex. An observational case-control study involving 86 hikers was conducted.

Background: Prophylactic dressings are used to prevent sacral pressure injuries (PIs) in intensive care unit (ICU) patients. Bedside clinicians are responsible for selecting these dressings despite the lack of comparative evidence.
Objectives: The objective of this study was to assess the feasibility of undertaking a larger multisite comparative effectiveness trial of two prophylactic sacral dressings in adult ICU patients.

BACKGROUND Giant cell tumors of bone typically occur in early adulthood, when the growth plate has closed. The distal radius is the second most common location affected, accounting for 10% to 12% of cases. Complications of poor soft tissue healing are rare in the distal radius, owing to its rich blood supply.
