The photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) is promising additional therapy in the treatment of temporomandibular disorder (TMD). In this regard, the purpose of this narrative review is to give a wide-ranging, objective, and judicious view of the current knowledge on PBMT as an additional TMD treatment modality, with summarised updated information. Although the results of most research studies report improvement of pain in TMD patients, some state that sustainability of absence of pain after PBMT of TMD is of concern.

Background: Several head-to-head meta-analyses have compared the efficacy and safety of different first-line treatments in patients with EGFR mutation-positive (M+) advanced or metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (nsq-NSCLC). However, there is a lack of comprehensive evaluation encompassing multiple treatment strategies. We retrospectively analyzed a large international cohort of 1113 patients with aplastic anemia to evaluate treatment choice and outcome in elderly patients as compared with a younger population. Overall, 319 (29%) patients were > 60 years old at diagnosis (60-64 years (n = 85), 106 65-69 years (n = 106), and 128 > 70 years (n = 128)).
