Osteomyelofibrosis (OMF) is a chronic myeloproliferative disorder characterized by bone marrow fibrosis, suppression of hematopoiesis and extramedullary hematopoiesis. Extramedullary hematopoiesis usually occurs in spleen and liver, however it may be observed in another sites. We present a patient with OMF accompanied by myeloid metaplasia in inguinal lymph nodes.

Objectives: Squamous cell carcinoma of the anal canal (SCCA) is a rare condition. Standard treatment includes chemoradiotherapy, with surgical treatment reserved for limited cases. In the future, the decrease in surgical frequency makes it more difficult to pathologically assess the depth of tumor invasion and lymph node status; therefore, those studies based on relatively recent surgical cases may offer valuable insights into diagnosing and treating SCCA.

Objectives: CD19-targeting chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy can induce long-term drug-free remission in patients with autoimmune diseases (AIDs). The efficacy of CD19-CAR T-cell therapy is presumably based on deep tissue depletion of B cells; however, such effect has not been proven in humans in vivo.
Methods: Sequential ultrasound-guided inguinal lymph node biopsies were performed at baseline and after CD19-CAR T-cell therapy in patients with AIDs.

This study presents a rare case of three synchronous colon tumors with metastasis to the left inguinal lymph node, challenging the conventional understanding of the metastatic pathways and highlighting the exceptional nature of such occurrences. This highlights the importance of considering alternative atypical metastatic routes for the management of colon cancer. A literature search was performed to identify similar cases.
