Background: Formula-fed preterm infants require nutrient-enriched formulas with optimized protein levels to support growth and neurodevelopment. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and effectiveness of a new liquid two-staged formula system designed to provide tailored nutrition during hospital stay and after discharge.
Methods: Male and female very-low-birth-weight preterm infants (birth weight ≤1,500 g; gestational age ≤32 weeks) were recruited from three neonatal units in Poland and Slovakia in a prospective, open-label, interventional study.

Aim: To evaluate the systematic reviews assessing the effectiveness of any type of school-based oral health programs in children and adolescents.
Methodology: A two-staged search strategy comprising electronic databases and registries based on systematic reviews was employed to evaluate the effectiveness of school-based interventions. The quality assessment of the systematic reviews was carried out using the Assessing the Methodological Quality of Systematic Reviews 2 (AMSTAR-2) tool.

Objectives: Coronary artery disease (CAD) and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) are common arterial pathologies that might occur simultaneously; however, there is not enough evidence about the optimal strategy for patients with concomitant indications of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and open repair of the AAA (AAOR). This study aims to present the outcomes in low and moderate cardiac surgical risk patients who underwent one-stage or two-stage elective CABG and AAOR in a middle-income country.
Methods: An observational, retrospective case series study was conducted.

Background: Although the uncommon dentinogenic ghost cell tumour (DGCT) is a benign entity, it possesses the ability to cause widespread destruction of the jaws and to recur after bone-preserving therapy. Hence, clear margins should be achieved upon surgery, and reconstruction techniques must often be used to restore osseous defects. However, this can be challenging in cases with involvement of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), and especially in children.

We present a case of congenital of flexor pollicis longus agenesis without thenar hypoplasia in a 12-year-old girl with no history of trauma. Two-staged corrective surgery was planned. In the first stage, the flexor pulley was reconstructed using silicone followed by the second stage 3 months later when flexor pollicis longus reconstruction was performed using tendon transfer of the flexor digitorum superficialis.
