Background: Since the introduction of sentinel node (SN) mapping in breast cancer, extra-axillary lymph node sites of breast tumor drainage are discovered in about one-quarter of cases, especially after intraparenchymal injection. In most such cases, an ipsilateral axillary SN is associated with an extra-axillary SN. Non visualization of ipsilateral axillary SN and extra-axillary SN drainage are often associated with an increased risk of axillary involvement.
Case: We report a case of contralateral axillary SN drainage on lymphoscintigraphy in a breast cancer patient with a history of bilateral reduction mammoplasty and no ipsilateral axillary lymph node involvement.

This study aimed to describe the clinical characteristics, lymph node metastasis patterns, and oncological outcomes of patients with splenic flexure colon cancer.
Methods: The data of patients with splenic flexure cancer diagnosed with pathological stages I-III were extracted from a hospital database.

Background: The risk of recurrence in patients with small, lymph node-negative, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive breast cancers untreated with adjuvant chemotherapy/HER2-directed therapy is uncertain. To investigate this, the authors conducted a retrospective, population-based study of chemotherapy use and breast cancer-specific survival (BCSS) among patients with stage IA HER2-positive breast cancer.
Methods: The authors analyzed Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results data from patients diagnosed with stage IA HER2-positive breast cancer from 2010 to 2019.

Hobnail papillary thyroid carcinoma (HNPTC) is an unusual and aggressive variant of PTC. Malignant pleural effusion secondary to thyroid carcinoma is a rare event reported in less than 1% of cases. Herein we present a case of metastatic HNPTC initially diagnosed by pleural effusion cytology, with a very poor outcome.
