[Methodology and research of public health].

The statistical sources now available within Russia's healthcare systems as well as their potentialities in respect to evaluating the public health standards are analyzed in the paper both analytically and comparatively. The most informative sources are enumerated; additionally to the verified data of the medical-and-demographic nature, parameters of the integrated health condition, which are based on questionnaires, self-assessment and medical documentation known to respondents, are suggested. The above methods and evaluation tools, that are in line with the world standards, ensure the compatibility of data and provide for a more tense usage of joint healthcare programs.
