This instrument assessed opinions and ethical considerations on various aspects including ethics and children's rights, surrogate health, offspring welfare, and social justice.

Background: Chaiqinchengqi decoction, a traditional Chinese medicine, has shown promising effects in in vitro, animal and preliminary small human studies for acute pancreatitis, but evidence of clinical practice is limited.

Purpose: To investigate whether Chaiqinchengqi decoction could improve clinical outcomes in patients with acute pancreatitis.

Study Design: Prospective, pragmatic, randomized controlled trial.

Purpose: This meta-analysis aims to estimate the global prevalence of severe, moderate, overall malnutrition and moderating factors of malnutrition in colorectal cancer (CRC) survivors.

Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in Embase, CINAHL, Medline-OVID, PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science from inception to February 8, 2024, without language, region, or publication date restrictions. A generalized linear mixed model and random-effects model were used to examine the pooled prevalence, and moderator analyses were implemented to investigate variations in the pooled prevalence.

Introduction: Previous research has demonstrated that after neoadjuvant therapy for rectal cancer, the sensitivity of magnetic resonance complete response (mrCR) for detecting pathologic complete response (pCR) in the surgical specimen ranges from 74 to 94%. Patient and provider interest in nonoperative management of rectal cancer that responds favorably to neoadjuvant therapy has grown, necessitating stronger evidence for how well radiographic complete response truly predicts pCR. We sought to determine the current association between mrCR and pCR in locally advanced rectal cancer.
