A wide-based polypoid tumor that was localized at the right wall of the distal trachea was observed over 3 cm from the carina by flexible bronchoscope. Computerized tomography showed an intraluminal soft tissue density mass in the trachea. The patient is alive without recurrence three years after surgery.
