AI Article Synopsis

  • A potential link between keratoacanthomas and previous injuries has been suggested in medical studies.

  • This case illustrates that surgical trauma can trigger the formation of keratoacanthomas.

Article Abstract

We report a patient who developed a keratoacanthoma at the site of a recent cutaneous excision site, demonstrating that surgical trauma can precede the development of keratoacanthomas.
