Ambitious policies are urgently needed to protect human health from the impacts of climate change. Civil society, including researchers and advocates, can help advance such policies by communicating with policy makers. In this scoping review, we examined what is known about effectively communicating with policy makers to encourage them to act on public health, climate change, or their nexus.

Background: Fall-prevention interventions are efficient but resource-requiring and should target persons at higher risk of falls. We need to ensure that fall risk is systematically assessed in everyday practice. We conducted a quality improvement (QI) intervention to systematize fall risk assessment and prevention in older adults hospitalized on general internal medicine wards.

Unlabelled: The review deals with the application of Molecular Dynamics (MD) to the structure modeling of beta-amyloids (Aβ), currently classified as intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs). In this review, we strive to relate the main advances in this area but specifically focus on the approaches and methodology. All relevant papers on the Aβ modeling are cited in the Tables in Supplementary Data, including a concise description of the applied approaches, sorted according to the types of the studied systems: modeling of the monomeric Aβ and Aβ aggregates.

Although the fractional polynomials (FPs) can act as a concise and accurate formula for examining smooth relationships between response and predictors, modelling conditional mean functions observes the partial view of a distribution of response variable, as distributions of many response variables such as blood pressure (BP) measures are typically skew. Conditional quantile functions with FPs provide a comprehensive relationship between the response variable and its predictors, such as median and extremely high-BP measures that may be often required in practical data analysis generally. To the best of our knowledge, this is new in the literature.

Objectives: The high incidence of coronary artery heart disease (CHD) poses a significant burden and challenge to public health systems globally. Effective prevention and early diagnosis of CHD have become key strategies to alleviate this burden. This study aims to explore the application of advanced machine learning techniques to enhance the accuracy of early screening and risk assessment for CHD.
