Background And Objectives: Better local control but higher rates of adverse radiation events (ARE) have been reported when combining American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO)-guideline-suggested dose (SD) stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) with immunotherapy or targeted therapy for melanoma brain metastases. The objective of this study is to explore the efficacy and safety of lower prescription doses compared with ASTRO guidelines for single-fraction SRS for patients with melanoma metastases who are concurrently receiving immunotherapy or targeted therapy.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective, single-center study on 194 patients who underwent SRS between 2009 and 2022.

In this study, the reaction between phosphazene superbases and a chlorophosphazene trimer ([PClN]) has been investigated. In this room temperature reaction, the phosphazene superbase (MeN)PN(MeN)P═NEt, commonly known as PEt, was shown to behave as a nucleophile, displacing one of the chlorides from [PClN] and producing the tadpole-like structure . The reaction described herein is one of the few instances of a phosphazene superbase behaving as a nucleophile rather than a Brønsted base.

Tyrosine phosphorylation on Ras by Src kinase is known to uncouple Ras from upstream regulation and downstream communication. However, the mechanisms by which phosphorylation modulates these interactions have not been detailed. Here, the major mono-phosphorylation level on tyrosine64 is quantified by P NMR and mutagenesis.

MVA-BN is an orthopoxvirus vaccine that provides protection against both smallpox and mpox. In June 2022, Canada launched a publicly-funded vaccination campaign to offer MVA-BN to at-risk populations including men who have sex with men (MSM) and sex workers. The safety of MVA-BN has not been assessed in this context.
