OBJECTIVE: To analyse the causes of iatrogenetic periapicitis and probe into the several methods of endo-treatment. METHODS: Prepare the root canal with routine,stepback,endo-ultrasound,precurve and synthesis methods, then fill the root cannal with gutta percha points,reexaminate after 6 months.RESULTS: 54 cases were successfully treated in total of 60 cases and the result showed quite effective after over 6 months.The successful rate was 90%. CONCLUSION: The key that reduces the incidence of iatrogenetic periapicitis and improves the successful rate of treatment is to grasp the indication of treatment,choice the fitting method and observe the operating routine.
