Two novel phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE-5) inhibitors were detected in pressed candy using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-diode array detection. Following extraction with acetonitrile and sonication, the compounds were isolated and purified semi-preparative liquid chromatography. Structural characterisation was achieved through high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of psychotherapeutic interventions, specifically cognitive-behavioral sexual therapy, using the example of erectile dysfunction in a cohort of 58 Ukrainian men under the age of 40 years. To achieve this goal, questionnaire methods were employed, including questions from the International Index of Erectile Function and the Perceived Stress Scale, along with statistical data processing and subsequent discussion. Psychotherapeutic intervention demonstrated its effectiveness from the short-term perspective and over a period of 6 months, with a significant improvement in erectile function indicators and a reduction in distress scores in the group of patients undergoing combined therapy ( < .

Purpose: Comparing post-radical prostatectomy erectile function rates among different techniques has always been a challenge in urology. This difficulty is due to the heterogeneity of studies, mainly in relation to the type of erectile function classification criteria used. The aim is to apply a new evidence-gathering methodology, called reverse systematic review, to compare erectile function rates among retropubic radical prostatectomy, laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, and robot-assisted radical prostatectomy, considering the diversity of classification criteria.
