Introduction: Video feedback, particularly with a head-mounted camera, has previously been described as a useful debriefing tool in well-funded health systems but has never been performed in a low-resource environment. The purpose of this randomized, intervention-controlled study is to evaluate the feasibility of using video feedback with a head-mounted camera during intestinal anastomosis simulation training in a low-resource setting.
Methodology: This study recruited 14 first-year surgery residents in Senegal, who were randomized into control and camera groups.

Purpose: To evaluate the feasibility of robot-assisted ureteral reconstruction as a minimally invasive alternative to open surgery for managing ureteric complications in transplanted kidneys.
Materials And Methods: From January 2020 to December 2023, robot-assisted ureteral reconstruction was performed on fifteen kidney transplant patients with vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) or ureteral stricture who had previously failed endoscopic treatments.
Results: Twelve females and three males, with a mean age of 48.

Background: Esophageal atresia is one of the most common life-threatening congenital malformations and is defined as an interruption in the continuity of the esophagus with or without fistula to the trachea or bronchi. Definitive treatment is surgical ligation of the fistula if present and esophageal end-to-end anastomosis of the two pouches, thereby reconstructing the continuity of the esophagus. During this procedure, the surgeon may choose to either ligate or preserve the azygos vein, a major draining vein for the esophagus and surrounding structures, but no definitive consensus on the matter exists.

Introduction: Coarctation of the aorta (CoA) patients often experience recoarctation, the reoccurrence of aortic narrowing, presenting a considerable clinical challenge.
Aim: This study aims to investigate the triggers or contributing factors associated with the development of recoarctation (reCoA) following the initial repair of CoA.
Material And Methods: The retrospective cohort study includes information about 120 patients, who underwent 4 different types of surgical repairs of coarctation of the aorta through left thoracotomy in the period 2012-2022.

Ulnar artery aneurysms are extremely rare and are mainly associated with hypothenar hammer syndrome, an ischemic disorder of the hand resulting from mechanical and repetitive trauma to the hypothenar region. The ulnar artery is hit against the hook of the hamate bone, causing damage to the vessel wall and leading to occlusion or formation of an aneurysm. We describe the case of a truck driver who underwent resection of an ulnar artery aneurysm in the right hand and reconstruction using end-to-end anastomosis with no complications or recurrence.
