Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the most common compression neuropathy. The median nerve contains sensory, motor, and sympathetic fibers. Involvement of the different fibers of the median nerve in CTS may vary; hence, one of the sensory, motor, or autonomic dysfunctions may be dominant.

Objectives: Patients with autonomic dysfunction, or dysautonomia, often report discoloration of their dependent extremities, which is thought to be from venous pooling or acrocyanosis. A subset of patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) are affected by dysautonomia but may be challenging to identify. We sought to determine whether patients with SSc who report discoloration in their feet have a higher burden of autonomic symptoms, including orthostatic, gastrointestinal (GI), urinary, secretomotor, and pupillomotor.

This review provides an updated overview of the association between breast augmentation and connective tissue diseases (CTDs). A narrative review of recent literature was conducted. Various autoimmune disorders, such as Raynaud's syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and Sjögren's syndrome, have been reported in association with breast implants, particularly silicone implants.

Vaughan-Jackson syndrome (VJS) is the attritional rupture of the extensor tendons secondary to arthritis or inflammation affecting the distal radioulnar joint. The surgical outcomes following Darrach's procedure and tendon transfers are not well described. The primary aim of this study was to report patient-reported functional outcome measures after surgery for VJS.
