Since 1998, the National Laboratory for Ionizing Radiation Metrology has lead an intercomparison program for activity measurements of radiopharmaceuticals administered to patients in the Nuclear Medicine Services (NMS) with the purpose of promoting the quality control. In this work, intercomparison results with the radionuclides 67Ga, 123I, 99mTc and 201Tl from the beginning of the program to the present will be presented establishing as a consequence, the radionuclide calibrators' traceability used by the participants. The analysis of the results showed that 68% were within the limits of +/-10% required by the Brazilian Regulatory Authority that demands this accuracy band for the radiopharmaceutical measurements in the NMS. The results also demonstrate an improvement in the measurement quality that this program has provided since its beginning.

Background: Mobility is a key social determinant of health for female sex workers (FSWs). While extant research has focused on the adverse effects of mobility for FSWs, there are very few studies that have examined the multiple ways in which mobility may impact the lives of these mobile women from their perspective. This qualitative study aims to fill this gap by exploring how mobility impacts the lives, livelihoods, and HIV care and treatment from the perspectives of women living with HIV in two epidemic settings, the Dominican Republic and Tanzania.

We evaluate EnMAP's standard normalized water leaving reflectance [ρ] over 17 water sites in the first two years of the mission. The EnMAP [ρ] standard product is generated by a dedicated water atmospheric correction (AC) called the Modular Inversion Program (MIP).

In response to the growing need of the space life sciences community for a publicly available single access point for radiation physics data relevant to human space exploration, an open data repository and analysis platform, RadLab, has been developed. RadLab consists of a database and a user-friendly data retrieval, visualization, and analysis toolkit, including a graphical user interface (GUI) and an application programming interface (API). RadLab complements the space biology data in the NASA Open Science Data Repository (OSDR) and aims to provide open, centralized access to radiation physics data relevant to spaceflight.

Interest in biological air quality monitoring is rising, and updated public information is increasingly demanded by stakeholders in the case of airborne pollen, which requires maintaining high standards of data quality. The number of aerobiological stations worldwide is continuously growing, and quality management is becoming more complex with the increase in the scale of aerobiological networks. Quality control exercises are crucial for maintaining the quality of the data used in the pollen monitoring routine over time.

We summarize historic New York City (NYC) climate change trends and provide the latest scientific analyses on projected future changes based on a range of global greenhouse gas emissions scenarios. Building on previous NPCC assessment reports, we describe new methods used to develop the projections of record for sea level rise, temperature, and precipitation for NYC, across multiple emissions pathways and analyze the issue of the "hot models" associated with the 6th phase of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6) and their potential impact on NYC's climate projections. We describe the state of the science on temperature variability within NYC and explain both the large-scale and regional dynamics that lead to extreme heat events, as well as the local physical drivers that lead to inequitable distributions of exposure to extreme heat.
