We present an overview of the treatment and clinical outcome of 15 orbital lymphomas, carried out in our center from 1993 to 2002. The surgical approach was determined by the location, and type of the lesion. Lateral orbitotomy was performed in five laterally located lesions, a transconjunctival approach in five medial, basal, extra-, intraconal lesions. Pterional intradural and extradural and intradural approaches (three) were used in case of intracranial involvement or location in the apex and optic canal. Two lesions of the lid or extraconal space were operated via eyebrow incision. Ten patients were diagnosed as extranodal marginal zone lymphoma. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLCL) was encountered in two patients, follicular lymphoma (FCL) in two patients, and diffuse lymphoplasmacytic/lymphoplasmacytoid lymphoma in one patient. All patients except one failed to reveal systemic disease and had a localized orbital lymphoma. Twelve of the patients responded to radiation therapy with usually 40 Gy. Cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, prednisone chemotherapy was applied in two patients, once in combination with radiotherapy. Local recurrence was seen in one patient with FCL. Systemic manifestation occurred in one patient with DLCL, undergoing ifosfamide, carboplatin, etoposide chemotherapy with complete remission. The course of orbital non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is variable and requires a multidisciplinary treatment. Therapeutic options include surgical biopsy, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy.

Introduction And Importance: Orbital lymphomas, are extranodal lymphomas primarily involving the ocular adnexa, which includes conjunctiva, eyelids, eyelashes, eyebrows, lacrimal glands, retro-orbital soft tissues, and the extraocular muscles. Ocular adnexal lymphomas can be primary or secondary. This case is important because there are few case reports in the world, and it is among the first case to be reported from Ethiopia.

Various space occupying lesions can arise in the orbit, ranging from developmental anomalies to malignancies, and many of the diseases occurring in children are different from the pathologies in the adult population. As the clinical presentation is frequently nonspecific, radiologic evaluation is essential for lesion detection and characterization as well as patient management. While orbital masses may in some cases involve multiple compartments, a simple compartmental approach is the key for the diagnosis on imaging studies, and MRI is the modality of choice.

Methods: A total of 123 patients were included in the study; of these, 93 patients were selected for survival analysis. Survival data were analyzed using the Kaplan-Meier test, and correlation was assessed through the log-rank test and Cox regression analysis.

Ocular involvement of lymphoma may present as a primary orbital or intraocular lymphoma or as a manifestation of metastatic disease. Involvement of various ocular structures may be difficult to diagnose due to its rarity and nonspecific clinical presentation. Primary high-grade B-cell lymphoma with MYC and BCL2 rearrangements of the orbit has rarely been reported in the adult population and has not previously been reported in the pediatric population.

Objectives: To evaluate the value of deep-learning-based intratumoral and peritumoral features for differentiating ocular adnexal lymphoma (OAL) and idiopathic orbital inflammation (IOI).
Methods: Nighty-seven patients with histopathologically confirmed OAL (n = 43) and IOI (n = 54) were randomly divided into training (n = 79) and test (n = 18) groups. DL-based intratumoral and peritumoral features were extracted to characterize the differences in heterogeneity and tissue invasion between different lesions, respectively.
