Although granulomatous interstitial nephritis (GIN) is a rare histological finding in kidney transplants, the joint occurrence of GIN and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) has not, to our knowledge, been reported in the literature. We report a case of GIN and de novo FSGS in kidney transplant recipients leading to allograft failure. A 69-year-old male with a history of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) of unknown etiology, as well as liver failure from hepatitis B and C co-infection, initially had a living unrelated kidney transplant (LURT) in 2007 and subsequently received both liver and kidney transplants (SLKTs) in 2017.

Hypertensive nephropathy (HN) is characterized by kidney damage due to chronic high blood pressure. Podocytes play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of HN, thus, nephrin could be important in the early diagnosis of HN. The aim of the study was to investigate the association of urinary nephrin (u-nephrin) levels with clinical and laboratory characteristics in patients with HN and to test diagnostic relevance of u-nephrin as an early biomarker of HN.

Purpose: To present the case of a young patient with BRAF V600E-mutant cutaneous melanoma who developed bilateral choroidal metastases complicated by neovascular glaucoma (NVG) in both eyes following the interruption of nivolumab therapy.
Methods: A 28-year-old female with primary cutaneous melanoma of the left hand underwent surgical resection and adjuvant nivolumab. Immunotherapy was discontinued due to immune-related acute interstitial nephritis.

Long-term hypertension increases the risk of the occurrence of hypertensive nephropathy (HTN), which is also a health-threatening disorder.
