Purpose: Multiple inflammatory and nutritional biomarkers have been established as independent prognostic factors across various solid tumors, but their role in outcomes prediction for glioma is still under investigation. Aim of the present systematic review is to report the available evidence regarding the impact of nutritional assessment and intervention for glioma prognosis and patients' quality of life (QoL).
Materials And Methods: Our systematic review conformed to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines.

The two obstacles for treating glioma are the skull and the blood brain-barrier (BBB), the first of which forms a physical shield that increases the difficulties of traditional surgery or radiotherapy, while the latter prevents antitumor drugs reaching tumor sites. To conquer these issues, we take advantage of the high penetrating ability of sonodynamic therapy (SDT), combined with a novel nanocomplex that can easily pass the BBB. Through ultrasonic polymerization, the amphiphilic peptides (CGRRGDS) were self-assembled as a spherical shell encapsulating a sonosensitizer Rose Bengal (RB) and a plant-derived compound, sulforaphane (SFN), to form the nanocomplex SFN@RB@SPM.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a pivotal role in regulating gene expression and are critically involved in the progression of malignant brain tumors, including glioblastoma, medulloblastoma, and meningioma. These lncRNAs interact with microRNAs (miRNAs), proteins, and DNA, influencing key processes such as cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. This review highlights the multifaceted impact of lncRNA dysregulation on tumor progression and underscores their potential as therapeutic targets to enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immunotherapy.

Introduction: Temporo-insular gliomas, rare brain tumors originating from glial cells, comprise about 30% of brain tumors and vary in aggressiveness from grade I to IV. Despite advancements in neuroimaging and surgical techniques, their management remains complex due to their location near critical cognitive areas. Techniques like awake craniotomy have improved outcomes, but tumor heterogeneity and proximity to vital structures pose challenges.

Cell therapies, including tumor antigen-loaded dendritic cells used as therapeutic cancer vaccines, offer treatment options for patients with malignancies. We evaluated the feasibility, safety, immunogenicity, and clinical activity of adjuvant vaccination with Wilms' tumor protein (WT1) mRNA-electroporated autologous dendritic cells (WT1-mRNA/DC) in a single-arm phase I/II clinical study of patients with advanced solid tumors receiving standard therapy. Disease status and immune reactivity were evaluated after 8 weeks and 6 months.
