The latest World Health Organization (WHO) classification of central nervous system tumors (WHO2021/5th) has incorporated molecular information into the diagnosis of each brain tumor type including diffuse glioma. Therefore, an artificial intelligence (AI) framework for learning histological patterns and predicting important genetic events would be useful for future studies and applications. Using the concept of multiple-instance learning, we developed an AI framework named GLioma Image-level and Slide-level gene Predictor (GLISP) to predict nine genetic abnormalities in hematoxylin and eosin sections: , , mutations, promoter mutations, homozygous deletion (CHD), amplification (amp), 7 gain/10 loss (7+/10-), 1p/19q co-deletion, and promoter methylation.

Purpose: The incidence of Functional Dyspepsia (FD) is gradually increasing, yet there are currently no effective treatment methods available. This study explored the effective components, potential targets, and pathways of Shi-San-Wei-He-Zhong-Wan (SSWHZW) in the treatment of FD, aiming to provide new insights into its treatment.
Methods: First, the Chinese Medicine System Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform (TCMSP) and GeneCards databases were utilized to identify the major active components of SSWHZW and potential therapeutic targets of FD.

Objective: The objective of this study is to assess the impact of nano platinum-hydrogen saline (Pt NPs + H) on oxygen-induced retinopathy (OIR) in neonatal rats, with the goal to contribute new insights into the therapeutic strategies for retinopathy of prematurity.
Methods: Pt NPs + H formulation was synthesized to address OIR in a rat model. Subsequent examination included the assessment of retinal blood vessel distribution and morphology through hematoxylin and eosin (HE) and isolectin B4 (IB4) staining techniques.

The applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning (DL) are leading to significant advances in cancer research, particularly in analysing histopathology images for prognostic and treatment-predictive insights. However, effective translation of these computational methods requires computational researchers to have at least a basic understanding of histopathology. In this work, we aim to bridge that gap by introducing essential histopathology concepts to support AI developers in their research.
