Article Abstract
Vesico-rectal fistula is a rare congenital abnormality causing severe early second trimester oligohydramnios. Prenatal diagnosis of such a case is reported here. Ultrasound diagnosis could be aided by transabdominal amnio-infusion and, if necessary, fetal intraperitoneal saline installation. In a karyotypically normal fetus with normal somatic growth, demonstration of normal fetal kidneys together with a functioning urinary bladder, in presence of severe oligohydramnios, is very suggestive of the diagnosis. Since pulmonary hypoplasia is the major cause of neonatal mortality in these cases, restoration of normal amniotic fluid volume by serial amnio-infusion was attempted. Although amnio-infusion is an important diagnostic aid in the evaluation of severe midtrimester oligohydramnios, the role of multiple therapeutic amnio-infusion in improving lung growth remains to be evaluated.

Acquired vesico-rectal fistula is an uncommon complication of pelvic malignant tumors, surgical injury, inflammatory disorders such as tuberculosis infection, radiotherapy and less commonly diverticulum of the urinary tract. The fistula is often identified by urinary tract abnormalities such as dysuria, recurrent urinary tract infection, pneumaturia, and fecaluria. Here, we report an unusual case of a patient with a vesico-rectal fistula of tuberculous origin, presenting with severe acute diarrhea, metabolic acidosis, hyperchloremia and hypokalemia while with only mild urinary tract symptoms.

Aim: To present the results of the diagnostic and the management of entero-urinary fistulae.
Methods: we performed a retrospective study on 18 patients with entero-urinary fistulas that had been diagnosed and treated at the Hospital Ibn Sina Rabat during the period spanning 1989-2006
Results: The surgery was the main etiology of fistulas. The location was colo-vesical in 2 cases, prostato-rectal in 7 cases, vesico-rectal in 2 cases, uretero-colic in 3 cases, uretro-rectal in 3 cases and uretero-ileal in 1 case.

Background And Purpose: Permanent seed implantation was used in the management of primary and recurrent prostate cancer in patients who had been treated previously by radiotherapy of the true pelvis.
Material And Methods: Between 1993 and 1998 a total of 21 patients received an I-125 implant after radiotherapy for bladder cancer (two patients), anal cancer (one patient), seminoma (two patients) and prostate cancer (16 patients). Two seminoma and 10 prostate cancer patients were treated after earlier definitive external beam radiation therapy (EBRT), while the bladder and anal cancer were initially treated with EBRT plus iridium implantation.
