Introduction: Fournier's gangrene is a severe infection of the perineum and genital regions, with high mortality rate. Treatment is medico-surgical and multidisciplinary, usually requiring extensive debridement of scrotal tissue and distant surgical reconstruction. Regarding scrotal reconstruction, numerous techniques have been described, however, to our knowledge, none has focused on testicular repositioning.

Introduction: Sacroiliac luxation is a common traumatic feline injury, with the small size of the sacral body being a challenge for surgical stabilization. This study compared an innovative computer-guided drilling method with the conventional fluoroscopy-controlled freehand technique. Neuronavigation, using CT-based planning and real-time tracking, was evaluated against the freehand method for accuracy and time efficiency.

Objective: To identify markers associated with pressure injury (PrI) history in individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI) using two approaches: skin blood flow (SBF) response toward localized heating, and serum marker for insulin resistance.
Methods: For this cross-sectional, observational study of adults with chronic traumatic SCI at T12 and above, researchers recruited two groups of participants: with history of PrI (group 1), and without history of PrI (group 2). The study protocol included obtaining fasting blood samples and measurement of SBF at bilateral heels with localized heating of 42 °C for 30 minutes from all participants.

Aim: To explore the trajectories of consciousness recovery and prognosis-associated predictors in children with prolonged disorder of consciousness (pDoC).
Method: This single-centre, retrospective, observational cohort involved 134 (87 males, 47 females) children diagnosed with pDoC and hospitalized at the Department of Rehabilitation at the Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University in China. The median onset age was 30 (interquartile range [IQR] 18-54) months, with onset ages ranging from 3 to 164 months.

Background: The presence of mandibular third molars has been associated with the risk of mandibular fractures, highlighting the need for comprehensive studies considering the interaction with other mandibular structures. This study investigates how mandibular third molars and neighboring tissues can influence the structural fragility of the mandible using finite element analysis.
Material And Methods: A finite element analysis study following the guidelines proposed by RIFEM 1.
