Infective endocarditis used to frequently cause mortality in subjects having PDA before the advent of antibiotics and surgical ligation. It has been documented that clinically silent PDAs may cause infective complications of heart valves. We present case of an 18-years-old male who presented with palpitations and fever to our emergency department.

Nerve block techniques, which are critical in mitigating pain, involve the targeted administration of local anesthetics to disrupt nerve signal transmission, thereby achieving significant analgesia. Traditionally, these techniques rely on anatomical landmarks and the clinician's expertise, which can introduce variability and potential risks.

Nitrous oxide (NO) has been increasingly used for recreational purposes due to its dissociative and euphoric properties. Exposure to NO results in the deactivation of in vivo vitamin B, leading to subsequent neurological sequelae due to vitamin B deficiency.7 Current management focuses on cessation of exposure and replacement therapy, yet patients may continue to suffer from permanent neurological damage.
