To investigate the relationships and impacts between various occupational ergonomic hazards and hand and wrist fatigue, as well as work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) of the hand and wrist, and to propose targeted preventive and intervention measures for adverse occupational ergonomic factors causing WMSDs of the hand and wrist. From 2018 to December 2023, a nationwide epidemiologic survey study of wrist WMSDs was conducted using the Chinese version of the electronic questionnaire system for musculoskeletal disorders.A total of 88, 609 valid questionnaires were collected.

While there is promise for health IT, such as Clinical Decision Support (CDS), to improve patient safety and clinician efficiency, poor usability has hindered widespread use of these tools. Human Factors (HF) principles and methods remain the gold standard for health IT design; however, there is limited information on how HF methods and principles influence CDS usability "in the wild". In this study, we explore the usability of an HF-based CDS used in the clinical environment; the CDS was designed according to a human-centered design process, which is described in Carayon et al.

Introduction: Joint problem-solving orientation (JPS) has been identified as a factor that promotes performance in fluid teamwork, but research on this factor remains nascent. This study pushes the frontier of understanding about JPS in fluid teamwork environments by applying the concept to within-organization work and exploring its relationships with performance, mutual value recognition (MVR), and expertise variety (EV).

Methods: This is a longitudinal, survey-based field study within a large United States healthcare organization = 26,319 (2019 response rate = 87%, 2021 response rate = 80%).

Background: Telecare is claimed to support people to live in their own homes for longer by providing monitoring services that enable responses to emergencies at home. Although most telecare technologies commissioned in the United Kingdom predominantly supply reactive services, there has been recent interest among policy makers to develop proactive telecare services to provide additional understanding of older adults' health and well-being needs to provide a means for more preventive interventions. Proactive telecare refers to providing regular well-being calls or encouraging users to regularly confirm their well-being to anticipate and prevent crises through an increased understanding of individuals' needs and by building social relationships with older adults.
